Good Morning!

When I look back on 2016, I’m positive that I’ll always be in shock with how much happened in twelve short months. 2016 was one of the most exhausting, challenging, overwhelming and heartbreaking years of my life. It was also beautiful, rewarding and brought as much good into my life as bad.  Looking back I’m grateful for each and every experience.

At the beginning of the year I set the theme to “focus on what matters” but I had no idea how important that would be. This year was supposed to suck, and at times it truly felt like more than I could handle. There were huge changes in every aspect of my life and it took a lot of grit to push through. But I am grateful for each and every moment.

I miss my Dad terribly, but I can say with 100% confidence that I am living out his legacy how he would want it. I’m not quite sure what 2017 will lead to, but’s nice to be on the other side and realize how much this year has allowed me to appreciate who I am, show me what I am capable of and truly show me what’s important in my life.

What was your favorite memory of 2016?

  1. What a year! I can’t believe how little Buel was, ahh! I am excited for what the next year can bring, though it also scares me. We go through so much in 12 months. It’s crazy looking back at all we’ve done!

  2. Big year! Can’t wait to hear what you’re hoping to accomplish in 2017!

  3. 2016 has been such a crazy, but great year! It’s amazing how much we’ve all grown in 12 months. It sure makes it fun to look back on!

  4. This has been such a year for you. Although it wasn’t always an easy one, I think you handled it with amazing grace and have definitely come out on top and as an even better version of yourself.

  5. What a year!! Wishing you nothing but the best in 2017, happy new year!

  6. Wow, you were busy this year! My favorite memory of 2016 was the birth of my baby girl in May. I also transitioned from full time RN to stay at home mama, started a blog, opened an Etsy shop, bought 5 acres to build our dream home, lost 3 family members to cancer. 2016 was a ball of emotions!
