Every day this week has seemed like Thursday to me, so I am bittersweet that the day has actually arrived. While I’m looking forward to the weekend, I have a lot of work to finish up before my trip to Vegas next week!
My busy season will be over in just a few more weeks and I am ready to slow down after that and enjoy the holiday season. In the meantime, I’m making sure to practice self care while I continue work my butt off.
This weather has me craving some time at home and I am also day dreaming of what I would do with an entire day off. I’m hoping to work a few of these things into my weekend.
If I had a day I would do the following:
Sleep in until I wake up naturally
Buy myself a latte
Go to yoga (hopefully with a good lesson!) or another workout class
Have brunch with a girlfriend
Spend a few minutes getting my life organized and planning blog posts (always makes me feel better)
Take Penny for a long walk
Finish my book club book (we are reading My Month of Madness this month- SO GOOD)
Binge watch Gilmore Girls
Make a new recipe (I would really like to make these Broccoli Cheese Tots soon!)
Enjoy a cocktail with my husband
Cuddle up on the couch and watch one of the documentaries I’ve been eyeing on Netflix (I have a few more to watch on this list)
