1. This week has been a little nutty at work and our busy season does not end until November, so I jumped on the crazy train and I don’t see myself getting off any time soon. I really do love my job though and I don’t mind being busy, so I’m fine it with it. I did find myself getting a little overwhelmed a few times so far this week, so I went to the gym. I’m happy I’m to the point in my life where I crave workouts, know that a good workout will relieve my stress and use it to do so. It’s definitely my “me time!”
2. I know a lot of people are really excited about the early release of the PSL at Starbucks, but I’m not ready yet. I’m still hanging on to the summer until after this long weekend and have at least one more barbecue left in me before I’m ready to be in Fall mode. Come next weekend though, I’ll be ready for pumpkin everything, chili making and football.
3. Tomorrow is my Birthday! I’ve been celebrating all week and had dinner with my in-laws on Tuesday night. Tonight I’m grabbing drinks with my friend Denise and tomorrow Rich is taking me out to dinner and then we’re meeting up with friends for post-dinner cocktails. The rest of the weekend I’m pumped to relax, because that’s really all I want for my Birthday!
