Weekly Refresh #5

Good Morning!

It’s been a fun and exhausting weekend! I’ll be back to recap the Bachelorette festivities later but for now, time to get ready for the week!

I’ve been focusing on my eating schedule and it’s been working! I have so much energy that it’s motivating me to keep going. This week I’m also implementing a new strength training plan which I am excited about!

My busy season at work kicked off and I am still adjusting, so work has been crazy! My workouts are my time to catch my breath and refresh, which helps me motivated. This week is going to be busy again with meetings so I took some time to plan out my workouts today.

Here’s how this week turned out:
Monday-30 minute walk with Penny, Body Pump
Tuesday-60 minute walk with Penny
Wednesday-30 minute walk with Penny, Circuit Class at my work gym
Thursday-30 minute walk with Penny
Friday-60 minute walk with Rich and Penny
Saturday-Off, Lauren’s Bachelorette in the city

Here’s my tentative plan for this week:
Sunday-45 minute Flywheel class plus walking through my strength routine with my trainer
Monday-30 minute walk with Penny
Tuesday-60 minute walk with Penny, Yoga
Wednesday-30 minute walk with Penny, Strength Training
Thursday-60 minute walk with Penny
Friday-30 minute walk with Penny, Strength Training
Saturday-60 minute walk with Penny

My new eating schedule is going fabulous, although last we struggled a bit with getting dinner on the table quickly with long days at work. This week I’m focusing on quick meals!

Here’s this week’s meal plan:

Mexican Egg Casserole (recipe to come later if it’s successful) and Green Smoothies

Fruit and nuts or peanut butter or cheese, Edamame, trail mix

Sunday-Ricotta Gnocchiย with Caesar Salads
Monday-Work Dinner at Kona Grill
Tuesday-Quinoa, Black Bean and Corn Tacos
Wednesday-Creamy Chicken and Herb Skillet with Zucchini
Thursday-Easy Beef & Broccoli with Brown Rice
Friday-Quick and Easy Pecan Crusted Dijon Salmonย with Brown Rice and Asparagus
Saturday-Take Out from The Athenian Room for a picnic in Oz Park for Movies in the Park!

Food Prep
Make Egg Casserole
Make Sunday Night Dinner
