It’s been a weird weekend! I had a blast hosting my first Book Club on Friday night, but my neck pain kicked my butt yesterday with a migraine and shooting pains all day so all my plans had to be cancelled. I’m feeling somewhat better and made plans to go to yoga with a friend in a few minutes, which will hopefully help stretch me out and get me feeling good!
After Yoga, I’m going to make a foodie Superbowl feast for Rich and I (which I’m hoping we’ll have leftover chicken I can repurpose into lunches for the week). I have to be honest, by the time Superbowl rolls around I’m a little sick of it, since it’s one of my biggest sales goals and have been selling Superbowl Advertising space since last Fall. This week was a busy one, so we opted out of Superbowl parties to spending some time just the two of us relaxing at home enjoying a good meal.

Workout wise this week was alright. My main focus was yoga but I also fit in some cardio and strength earlier in the week. My goal for the upcoming week is to workout every day until my surgery. I have scheduled classes every day this week during lunch and both days next weekend. I think this will help me feel mentally strong and the best I can be going into my surgery.
Also, because I completely burnt myself out last week I’m taking it easy this week. I’m making sure to get a full night’s sleep every night, have some downtime, eat mindfully and have a good attitude.

Tuesday-Portobello Cheesesteaks with Tater Tots
Wednesday-Roasted Garlic Chicken Skillet with Brown Rice and Green Beans
Thursday- Pepperoni Pizza Quesadillas and Broccoli
Friday-Date Night at Naha!
Saturday-Rich has a Bachelor party and I’ll be home glued to the Olympics 🙂
