Meal Plan 12/8-12/14

Good Morning!

It’s been another relaxing but busy weekend. It kicked off on Friday night when Rich and took a tamale making class! (more on that later) Saturday morning I ran the Santa Run 5k with Kelly, did some cooking and baking and spent some time on the couch in my pajamas. I made Pioneer Woman’s Perfect Pot Roast, which was delicious and so comforting on a freezing cold day! In a few minutes I’m going to head out to yoga class and later this afternoon we have a meeting with our marriage group at church. Other than that, it should be a pretty non-eventful Sunday!

Sunday- Pot luck at church (I’m bringing these cookies)
Monday- Spicy Black Bean Burgers
Tuesday- Happy Hour after work
Wednesday- Provencal Fish Stew
Thursday- My industry Christmas party
Friday-Rich’s Christmas party
Saturday-Wing it

Make Granola Bars
Make Soup
Prep Black Bean Burgers

  1. We’ve been snowed in and meals around here are starting to get… interesting. Hoping to go grocery shopping tomorrow and find some butternut squash and make soup out of it. (I don’t think I’ve ever even tried butternut squash!!)

    That pot roast looks pretty delicious!!

  2. Your perfect pot roast does look quite perfect & ridiculously delicious. The only new recipe I made over the weekend were the raw peppermint cookies that are on my blog today.

  3. I used to fear my slow cooker too. This summer, I started making a slow cooker meal once a week – usually Tuesdays because that was our busy soccer/dance night – and I love it now. I think it’s all about finding a cache of recipes you love :)
