Workout Recap 10/6-10/12 and Meal Plan 10/13-10/19

Good Morning!

This weekend was a pretty laid back one! Friday night, I went out with some girlfriends to Seasons 52 for dinner and a comedy club after. The rest of the weekend was spent getting things done around the house and relaxing. I really needed it after the work week and now I’m feeling refreshed and renewed! Oh, and I made these butterscotch chocolate pretzel pudding cookies. I highly recommend them-so good.


This week was also pretty laid back with workouts. After my triathlon was cancelled last week, I set my yoga goal and am now focusing on that. After only three classes back to the yoga studio, my neck is feeling much better and the stretching is really helping me stay pain-free! I made it to two yoga classes with Rich, a Turbo Kick class with my friend Denise and am finishing the week with a four mile run/walk with my friend Ashely in a few. Making my workout plans my social night has been key for me to fitting in my bare essential workouts each week and anything beyond that is extra. This is working for me, so I’m going to keep it up this week!

Now for this week’s meal plan! 

I took a trip to Trader Joe’s this weekend, so it’s a bit more laid back than normal as far as cooking. (can you tell there’s a theme in my life lately?)

White Chicken Quinoa Chili


Sunday- Pioneer Woman’s Hot & Spicy Italian Drip Beef Sandwiches with side salads
Monday-Leftover sandwiches
Tuesday- Chicken Tikka Masala (from Trader Joe’s) with rice and peas
Wednesday- Stuffed Flounder (from Trader Joe’s) and Asparagus
Thursday-Shrimp cooked with green curry simmer sauce (from Trader Joe’s) with brown rice
Friday-Wing it
