This weekend has been a super laid back and fun weekend with a little bit of productivity thrown in. AKA my perfect type of weekend!
Friday night we had dinner with our new church group and on Saturday we went downtown for a food tour (more on that later!), then stopped at Trader Joe’s, turbo cleaned our condo, then relaxed and watched the Blackhawks game! Today’s plan is a 40 mile bike ride followed by a family barbecue. Here’s hoping we stay awake for the barbecue!
Speaking of training, this week was just an alright one. I fit in a 40 minute bike ride outside on Tuesday night, roughly five miles of walking in the city yesterday and did my PT exercises twice this week. I wish I would’ve fit in one more ride this week, but it’s giving me something to improve upon this week!

Monday-Chicken feta burgers and Cucumber salad
Tuesday-Sausages with Polenta and marinated peppers
Wednesday- Portobello mushroom pizzas
Thursday-10 minute shrimp curry with brown rice
Friday: Whole Wheat spaghetti with baked chicken thighs and vodka sauce
Saturday: Seared Scallops with Spinach and White Beans
