Meal Plan 6/16-6/22 and Venus de Miles Training Update

Good Morning and Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s out there!

Dad Marathon

My Dad’s the coolest of all and has helped me to become who I am today! He is the hardest working person I’ve ever met, the most supportive skating (and now running) Dad there is and runs marathons faster than I run my half marathons! I’m proud to call him my Dad!

This week was a busy one with Run for Boston, but I did my best to fit in workouts. I went on a long walk with my neighbor on Monday, did my PT exercises on Tuesday and Thursday and went on a 30 minute bike ride outside on Friday before heading out to packet pick-up. Today, we have 25 miles on the plan and we’re ready to tackle them!

Wednesday-¬†Dinner at our friends Liz & Jason’s
Thursday-Pork & Mushroom stir fry with brown rice
Friday: Out
Saturday: Wing it

Today’s going to be a busy Sunday! First we’re taking my Dad and my in-laws to brunch to celebrate Father’s Day, then a grocery store trip and then it’s time to tackle our 25 miler! Wish us luck!

    • It does seen non-stop! Actually, the whole summer looks that way!!! I’m so glad I got to see you yesterday, we’ll have to plan soon!
