One thing I really miss about living in the city is the ability to walk out my door and have an unlimited amount of great restaurants at my feet.
However, the ability to hop on the highway and conveniently meet up with three of my best girlfriends who all live an hour apart from each other is pretty awesome.
Last night, I had a fabulous girls’ night with three of my former college teammates and close friends at Seasons 52.
Seasons 52 is a fresh grill and wine bar. Their menu changes with each season and weekly specials are also rotated out 52 times a year. All menu items are less than 475 calories and their desserts are less than 350 calories. Also, they have an extensive wine list, beer selection and seasonal cocktails.
I started with a glass of Pinot Grigio and the weekly special salad which was an Arugula salad with truffles and parmesan. It was absolutely delicious! (you can’t go wrong with truffles in my mind)
For my entree, I had the Caramelized Grilled Sea Scallops. The scallops were cooked perfectly, had a great flavor and a surprisingly large portion for less than 475 calories. Alongside was roasted asparagus and sun-dried tomato-mushroom pearl pasta. The scallops tasted fresh and the dish was full of flavor . I was very satisfied!
We had to end our night with one of their “Mini Indulgences.” I chose the Belgian Chocolate Rocky Road which was decadent, delicious and the perfect end to a great girls’ night!
I would definitely recommend Seasons 52 as a place for a nice glass of wine, variety of food options and delicious desserts. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy and the perfect choice for a night out with my girlfriends.

I’ve heard so many awesome things about this place! And everything is low-cal? I need to check it out!
It was so fun for a girls’ night! And so many options of food!
I’d read about it on a Philly-based blog I read, so I thought you were in Philly! Didn’t realize it was a chain. That salad looked divine.

I would definitely recommend it!
I’ve wanted to go there for a long time! Is the closest one the one in Schaumburg?

I’m heading here this Friday and I’m really excited about it! When you went there for dinner, were you still able to order sandwiches off the lunch menu?
