Monday Motivation

This weekend was a good mix of relaxing, resting, productivity and spending time with friends! I have the day off today and I plan on using this day as another day to do just the same. I plan on going to a mid-morning class at the gym, working on several blog posts for the next  few weeks, going to my follow up doctor appointment in the afternoon and then relaxing at night.

I’ve come along way in my attitude towards relaxing. In the past, this day would’ve been completely filled with errands and no time to relax and do things for me! I’ve been learning, slowly but surely, that having moments to relax and just BE in the moment work wonders for my well being.

Anyone else have today off? What are you doing with your day? Anything fun happen this weekend? Are you good at relaxing?

  1. I have today off too! Too bad I’ve been super sick since Thursday so no working out or anything productive today.

  2. Good reminder, Katie. I have an extremely hard time with relaxing. I get so much anxiety from what I need to get done that when I sit still, I still feel like I should be doing something. It’s terrible at times. I have good days and bad days with it. Today is my only day off before a really busy week, so I’m not relaxing but catching up on all I can before I go, go, go. Hopefully I can relax some tonight!

    • Same here. I plan on working on my blog all evening, so at least that’s a bit relaxing for me! Cutting myself off at 8:30 though!
