This weekend was a pretty perfect weekend. Friday night my friend Liz came over and we caught up on Pretty Little Liars and then went to see Silver Linings Playbook. After the movie, I got a second wind and met up with friends for last call at the bar and stayed out way too late. Saturday was a lazy day followed by a fun date night with my husband in Milwaukee. Today I woke up early for yoga with a few girlfriends, went to church and the grocery store with my husband and then spent the afternoon prepping food. For dinner I made shepard’s pie with chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Now we’re catching up on our DVR and life is grand. The best part? The weekend’s not over! I have one more day. 🙂
Here’s how last week went down:
It was a pretty good week but I wish I wouldn’t swam and lifted one more time. That’s ok though, because that gives me something to work towards this week! It’s going to be a busy one, but my meals are prepped and tomorrow’s day off will fuel me to power through.

During the week: leftover shepard’s pie, roasted chicken and vegetables
Last week’s new strategy worked awesome, so today I spent three hours in the kitchen prepping food for the week. It was tedious, but now we have all our meals prepped for the week and it will be totally worth it.
